Sencha Spring is a premium green tea made from carefully selected dark green leaf needles, which create a golden-colored beverage with a radiant hue. It has a medium-bodied taste that impresses with vibrant grassy tones, a pleasant tartness and a refreshing sensation. A mild floral aftertaste, reminiscent of fresh herbal notes, remains present long after consumption. The tea leaves grow under direct sunlight and are picked in spring, at the peak of their aromaticity, ensuring freshness and fullness of flavor.

To prepare sencha, use 4-5 g of tea and pour it with 60°C hot water. The leaves are only steeped long enough for the rod-shaped leaves to fully open, so there is no need to keep an eye on the clock - just observe the tea.
The second pour is done with 80°C hot water and the tea is left for only a few seconds.
The third pouring is done with 100°C hot water and also soaked for only a few seconds.
This way, we can enjoy the tea at different levels of intensity and find the flavor that suits us best."

Ko sem bil majhen, sem poleti pogosto sedel na kamniti ograji ob očetovem čajnem vrtu. Bil sem zelo tih otrok. Nekega jutra sem s sabo prinesel skodelico sveže pripravljene senche. V daljavi je pela čaplja. Takrat sem prvič opazil, da tudi čaj lahko zveni kot ptica: svetlo, hitro, z odmevom grenčine. Oče je rekel: »Sencha ti nikoli ne laže. Če si nemiren, boš to pil. Če si srečen, tudi.« To je bil prvi čaj, ki me je naučil poslušati sebe.
