Mizudashicha is a Japanese green tea brewed with cold water. The name "mizudashi" means "cold water extract". It is usually made with Sencha, Wakoucha, Genmaicha or Houjicha tea, which is steeped in cold water.
The result is a refreshing tea with mild sweetness, low bitterness and a pleasant refreshing aroma. Mizudashicha is especially popular in the summer months, as it provides a cool and naturally sweet drink without added sugar.
